Records Management

Transtecs Records Management Service provides an integrated approach to controlling and safeguarding records, electronic files, and hardcopy documents. We capitalize on people, processes, and technology; and an extensive background, past performance, and current efforts to deliver expertise and insight to records management tasks.

We currently maintain a Top Secret facility clearance and our records management staff possesses valid security clearances to plan, develop, and implement Government file management and maintenance systems that facilitate processes for both hard copy and electronic media management.

Our team track, access, and retrieve documents and information in a timely manner throughout the record’s lifecycle. We provide document and records management support for customers throughout the continental United States.

  • Indexing, labeling, bar coding, and tracking with electronic inventory systems

  • Intellectual and physical support that enable the customer to control documents or information
  • Organization of documents and information in a logical filing system in accordance with the customer's requirements
  • Collection and organization of documents for scanning and indexing in a digital format; updating of existing filing systems
  • Maintenance of electronic records in accordance with DOD 5015.2 STD, and Disposal

Due to the nature and sensitivity of Government documents, Transtecs takes precautions to safeguard information at all times and to maintain information confidentiality. Our information security processes are in accordance with all applicable security regulations and laws, and is applied to all classified materials handled, distributed, and stored.
